About Ohio Northern University

Ohio Northern University, or ONU, for short, is a private, United Methodist Church-affiliated university located in Ada, which is a city in Hardin County, in the US state of Ohio, with a population estimated at a number of more than 5800 inhabitants, at the time of the 2006 census.

ONU was established in 1871 and it is a sister university with Dankook University, a private university in Seoul, South Korea. It offers its students nationally ranked arts, sciences and professional programs, through 5 colleges, which are: the College of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Pharmacy and Law.

Athletics

ONU's athletic teams are known as the Polar Bears and they compete in NCAA Division III. Their distinctive colors are orange, black and white, and their mascot is Klondike.
